Plan Commission Meeting @ 6:45 pm

at Reedsburg Town Hall

Monday, April 14, 2025

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Gatlin Fenwick, Mimii Wuest, David Allen, Julie Barreau and Becky Meyer

ABSENT:  Terri Connors

OTHERS PRESENT: Mark Zobel, Zac Zobel

1. Call Plan Commission to order at 6:41 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.  G. Fenwick called the meeting to order at 6:45 with the pledge of Allegiance

2. Certify compliance with Open Meetings Law Wis. Stat. §985.02(2)(a).  B. Meyer ceritified that the open meeting law is in compliance with a posting on the front door and on the town website

3. Adopt the agenda.  Motion by Allen / Barreau to adopt the agenda as presented.  Motion carried unanimously. 

4. Approve the Minutes from previous meeting.  Motion by Wuest / Barreau to approve the minutes from the xx meeting as presented.  Motion carried unanimously. 

5. Anyone wishing to speak that is not on the agenda - No action can be taken (3minute limit). No one spoke

6. Zobel & Sons regarding a 5 year renewal of their special exception permit for their nonmetallic mine on Fish Pond Rd.  Mark Zobel requested a 5-year renewal of their special exception permit for their nonmetallic mine at S4147 Fish Pond Rd.  Motion by Barreau / Wuest to recommend approval to the Town Board of a 5-year renewal of the Zobel & Sons special exception permit for their nonmetallic mine on Fish Pond Rd.  Motion carried unanimously. 

7. Plan Commission Committee Members updates.  There were no committee member updates.

8. Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting).  Nothing

9. Next meeting date if there is anything to discuss.  Next meeting date is scheduled for May 12th @ 6:30 pm for a public hearing to present the update of the comprehensive plan to the constituents of the Town of Reedsburg. 

10. Adjourn.  Motion by Allen / Wuest to adjourn the meeting at 6:48 pm.  Motion carried unanimously.
