Monthly Town Board Meeting @ 7:00 PM
at Town Hall located at 600 W. Main Street Reedsburg
All Items on the agenda are listed for discussion and possible motion

- Call Regular Town Board Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance. Chair, C. Allen, Called the Meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
- Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a). Clerk, R. Meyer, Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a) with being placed on the Town Website and on the Town Hall Door.
- Adopt Agenda. Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt the January 12, 2026 agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
- Approve minutes from previous meeting. Motion by Klitzke / Connors to approve the minutes from the December 2025 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
- Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes. Robert Coens is requesting a reduction in the speed limit from the City of Reedsburg Limits to North Dewey on County Rd H. He was directed to talk to Pat Gavinski because this is on a County Rd.
- Michala Gerads to present a 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 1 T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County. Said parcel contains 20 acres. Owner of property is Sharon Johnston. CMS divides tax parcel number 030-0020-20000 into two new Lots with the empty being sold and Faith Christian Church being constructed on the new lot. Ken Kayhart, pastor of Faith Christian Church, presented a 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County. Said parcel contains 20 acres. Owner of property is Sharon Johnston. CMS divides tax parcel number 030-0020-20000 into two new Lots with the empty being sold and Faith Christian Church being constructed on the new lot. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to recommend approval of a 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in the Town of Reedsburg to the ET Committee. Motion carried unanimously.
- Shaun Haag present a CSM located at E5455 Old Ironton Rd. in NE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 8, T12N, R4E in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County Said parcel contains 12.70 acres. Owner of the property is Shaun D. Haag and Jaime R. Haag. This CSM divides tax parcel number 030-0244-20000 into two lots. Lot one is 2.01 acres with the duplex and septic system and Lot 2 is 10.69 acres with the farm buildings. –Shaun Haag presented a CSM located at E5455 Old Ironton Rd. in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County. - Discussion for WTA District meeting attendance for Board of Review Certification on February 7, 2026 at Wilderness Resort Glacier Canyon Lodge. Rebecca Klitzke will attend the WTA District meeting for Board of Review Certification on Saturday, February 7,2026 at Wilderness Resort Glacier Canyon Lodge. Clerk Meyer will get her registered.
- Highway Report - Brandon Wilmot
a. Road Report – snow plowing and sanding otherwise pretty quiet
b. Driveway Permits – None
c. Other comments –
i. Town hall floor was professionally cleaned to remove stains from a rental.
ii. Responed to a call to apply sand on a driveway during a house Fire on Old Ironton Rd.
10. Chairman / Supervisor Reports and comments
a. Supervisor II - Terri Connors – Nothing to report.
b. Supervisor I - Rebecca Klitzke – Met with Carl & Dori Krueger about installing the cabinets in the Town hall kitchen from Lorna Klitzke’s kitchen remodel. Approximate install would be about $1500.
c. Chair - Chad Allen – Kurt Mead called about having their town meeting at our town hall. Cows were out on Hackbarth Rd. Deputy Knull is looking into the cattle being at large.11. Town Clerk - Becky Meyer
a. Assessor (Holloway Appraisal) Report - Nothing noted.
b. Building Inspector (GEC) Report.i. Zachary Landon @ E5038 Herritz Rd for New Home.
c. Monthly Vouchers - AP QuickBooks reports were emailed. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to pay the monthly vouchers. Motion carried unanimously.
d. Other comments – A town resident has been sent a letter from the County Clerk’s office regarding being unable to vote in future elections due to incompetence. Marty Koenecke was a sent a letter from the DNR regarding burning scrap materials including tires.
12. Treasures Report - Kathy Schwartz-reported by Becky Meyer
a. Deposits 12/31/2025- $600.00, 01/13/2026 - $1,554.92.
b. ACH Deposits - $29,336.62 – General Transportation Aids
c. Taxes collected as of Dec. 31, 2025 - $1,036,456.70.

13. Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Rebecca Klitzke mentioned the DMV sign install. The sign was received from DMV and Brandon will install when the ground thaws.
