Monday, June 9, 2025
Monthly Town Board Meeting
at 7:00 pm at Town Hall
All Items on the agenda are listed for discussion and possible motion

Present:  Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Terri Connors, Becky Meyer, Kathy Schwartz, Brandon Wilmot

1. Call Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance. Chair, Chad Allen Called the Meeting to order at 7:00 pm
2. Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a). Clerk, Becky Meyer Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a) with being placed on the Town Website and on the Town Hall Door.
3. Adopt Agenda.  Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt the June 9, 2025 agenda.  Motion carried unanimously.
4. Approve minutes from previous meeting.  Motion by Klitzke / Connors to approve the minutes from the May 2025 meeting with a few adjustments.  Motion carried unanimously.
5. Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes. No one spoke
6. Discussion and possible Ordinance for July regarding town protocol for unlicensed dogs with in the Town.   Treasurer Kathy Schwartz did some research.  Upon discussion it was determined that dog licensing is a state statue.  A Town ordinance is not required.  A notice will be sent certified mail to a town resident after a dog bite incident was reported.
7. Highway Report - Brandon Wilmot
1. Road Report – Scott Construction has the crack filling done on Thieman Hill and Eagle Ridge Ct.   
2. Driveway Permits - None
3. Other comments – Alliant Energy came and changed out the meter.
8. Chairman / Supervisor Reports and comments
1. Supervisor II - Terri Connors – Nothing to report
2. Supervisor I - Rebecca Klitzke – Noted that the garbage men were picking up garbage cans that were blown over by the wind.  Spoke with Erik Knull about South end of Golf Course Rd. with a 10-ton limit sign not being posted to maintain additional patrol.
3. Chair - Chad Allen – Hetty Nicholas called about her garbage not being picked up.  Clint Thompson called about a pile of junk in the neighbor’s yard.  Duane Gross called regarding a neighbor complaining about walking their dog in Copper Creek.  Brian Bender called to see if the area near the Dairy Breakfast could be mowed.
9. Town Clerk - Becky Meyer
1. Assessor (Holloway Appraisal) Report - Nothing noted. 
2. Building Inspector (GEC) Report – Nothing noted.
3. Monthly Vouchers - AP QuickBooks reports were emailed.  Motion by Connors / Klitzke to pay the monthly vouchers. Motion carried unanimously. 
4. Other comments - Nothing
10. Treasures Report - Kathy Schwartz
1. Deposits (Checks and Cash)- $1,966.75 ($1,86.75 - Recycling Grant, $100 - hall rent, etc., $30 - Special Assessment letters). 
2. Bank interest was noted.
3. Review Calendar Dates
1. Plan Commission - July 14, August 11, and September 8 if there is anything for the agenda.
2. Town Board - July 14, August 11, and September 8.
3. Board of Review - June 10, 6pm - 8pm.
4. Hall Rentals (DOT & 4H Club).
4. Other comments – Nothing
11. Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Clerk Meyer noted the two certified letters for Ladd Soukup and Dennis Laukant were returned.  Supervisor Klitzke and Supervisor Connors volunteered to hand deliver the Laukant notice
12. Adjourn.  Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adjourn the June 2025 monthly meeting at 7:59 pm.
