Annual Meeting DRAFT Minutes

Town of Reedsburg

Monday                                  April 21, 2025                                  6:00 P.M.

PRESENT:  C. ALLEN, R. MEYER, R. KLITZKE, T. CONNORS, K. SCHWARTZ

This is the 2025 Annual meeting for the happenings in the year 2024.

The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of allegiance at 6:20 p.m.

This meeting was posted at the Town Hall and the Town Website

Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt agenda. Motion carried unanimously.

The minutes from the 2023 Annual Meeting were presented. Motion made by Klitzke / Connors to approve the minutes.  Motion carried unanimously.

Town Clerk, R. Meyer, went thru the Financial Profit / Loss Report for 2024. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to approve the Financial Report.  Motion. carried unanimously.

Town Clerk, R. Meyer, gave the Building Permit report.  In 2024 there were 24 building permits issued.  There were 1 Solar Installations, 4 new homes and other miscellaneous permits.

Town Treasurer, K. Schwartz, gave the Hall Rental and Tax Season report. The DOT is renting the hall twice a month at $900 a quarter for $3,600 for the year.  The hall was rented 21 times in 2024. Special Assessment letters that were sent equalled $380. 98 Dog License were issued that equaled - $605.00.  The Tax season went well.  Mill Rate in 2024 was decreased to $11.00.

The town population is noted as 2024 Population is 1,141.

Motion by Klitzke / Connors to set the 2026 Annual meeting date to Monday, April 20, 2026 at 7:00 pm.

Motion made by Klitzke / Connors to adjourn at 6:49 PM. Motion carried.
