Annual Meeting Minutes

Town of Reedsburg

 Monday                                  April 22, 2024                                   7:00 P.M.

PRESENT:  C. ALLEN, R. MEYER, R. KLITZKE, T. CONNORS, K. SCHWARTZ

This is the 2024 Annual meeting for the happenings in the year 2023.

The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of allegiance at 7:15 p.m.

This meeting was posted at the Town Hall and the Town Website

Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

The minutes from the 2023 Annual Meeting were presented. Motion made by Klitzke / Connors to approve the minutes.  Motion carried

Town Clerk, R. Meyer, went thru the Financial Profit / Loss Report for 2023. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to approve the Financial Report with Corrections to be emailed. Motion. carried.

Town Clerk, R. Meyer, gave the Building Permit report.  In 2023 there were 18 building permits issued and 2 Raze permits.  There were 3 Solar Installations, 9 Pole Sheds / Shop buildings and other miscellaneous permits.

Town Treasurer, K. Schwartz, gave the Hall Rental and Tax Season report. The DOT is renting the hall twice a month at $900 a quarter for $3,600 for the year.  The hall was rented 20 times in 2023. Special Assessment letters were $330. 95 Dog License were issued.  The Tax season went well.  Mill Rate in 2022 was 18.34 and Mill Rate in 2023 18.61.

The town population is noted as 1147 for 2023. 2024 Population is 1,141.

R. Klitzke gave a brief report on the Ambulance.  They are still taking a lot of calls and the addition is complete and The City has taken full responsibility of the Ambulance.

Motion by Klitzke / Connor to set the date of the 2025 Annual Meeting to be Monday, April 21, 2025.  Motion carried.

Motion made by Klitzke / Connors to adjourn at 9:17 PM. Motion carried.
